23, AMERICAN, DESIGN STUDENT IN PROGRESS. I read comic books, watch tv like I'm getting paid by the hour and collect half-assed collections. I go through internet handles like cheap toothbrushes because my natural state is 'shy anon being shy'.
I like homestuck, chew, OGLAF, superhero comics, uncountable kids cartoons, dragon age, old films and tons of other crap. I may reblog all of the things and sometimes talk to the air.
-if you drop me a request there is about a 50% chance i will eventually take a stab at it, especially if it's simple; i need the practice.
-I don't auto follow back because I like having a sloooow dash; if I follow you and then unfollow you shortly after, it's probably because you are awesome but you post more than I can handle.
Anonymous: I really want to do something about Ferguson but I live states away and have no money to fund anything. Do you know of any petitions or SOMETHING I can do, because I've tried my hardest to get the word out, we new to reach out to these people. I feel like we aren't doing enough there has to be something.
Contact the Ferguson Police Department and seek information on those being detained, the protests, legal procedures, etc.

DO NOT reblog photos of Mike Brown’s body lying on the street. His family has requested that these photos not be spread around. Please respect their wishes.
Very importantly, stay alert. Read everything you can on the subject. The reports on The New York Times, Al Jazeera, and other news outlets are very limited, especially because the police in Ferguson are going to great lengths to keep reporters out. Seek out what you can online and from first hand sources, if you know anyone in the area. Listen to the stories of those who have been affected by this tragedy and other similar ones. Educate yourself as much as you possibly can so you can help make sure the right people are heard.
okay so if harry potter was born in 1980, and went to hogwarts in like 91, that means he was in his sixth year in 1996 do you think he knew about the spice girls? i mean.. i know he had shit going on with horcruxes that year but wannabe isn’t something that happens without you taking note of it
hi everybody, recently i’ve been seeing a lot of people around the internet talking about experiencing drawing related pain
it feels like the right time to publicly recommend this extremely informative and well-researched minicomic by kriota willberg. i carry a copy with me everywhere and tell friends about it all the time because it is super helpful and has helped me unlearn some bad drawing habits and learn plenty of healthy new ones!
in 60 pages it covers
drawing positions that lessen stress on your muscles
a wide variety of easy exercises (and sample routines)
small lifestyle changes you can make to keep healthy
and when to tell if prevention isn’t enough and you need to see a doctor
you can buy it HERE and HERE. it’s very thorough, the author knows a lot about muscles and the body as well as about the specifics of drawing and it really shows. even if you haven’t experienced drawing pain yet, integrating this stuff into your routine is a good way to start taking preventative measures
Grasshopper mouse (Onychomys sp.) howling, in case anybody thought I was kidding about that whole thing.
(Here’s a longer video with some astonishingly bad narration if you want a mouse vs. centipede fight followed by some adorable mouse-parent bonding.)
Usually when rodents are described as carnivorous, they’re more insectivorous, with their ‘meat’ needs met by eating bugs and spiders and similar invertebrates. Grasshopper mice are way more likely to go for proper meat, and they’ve developed the hunting instincts and territoriality to go with that sort of predation-dependent diet.
